Ebey Waterfront Park Expansion update

Posted by MacLeod Reckord in News on Wednesday, December 4, 2019

MacLeod Reckord, having recently completed the updated master plan and schematic plans for the City of Marysville’s expansion of Ebey Waterfront Park, is working with Parametrix to incorporate facilities for a major regional stormwater treatment facility on the park site. In the course of only two years, stormwater treatment technology has changed dramatically allowing the stormwater facility, treating 480 acres, to fit into the park’s corner plaza. MacLeod Reckord will explore a range of design options that meld utility with beauty and convey the story of enormous environment benefit this project will have for Ebey Slough and the Snohomish River. Design, permitting, and construction is funded with a five million dollar grant from Department of Ecology.
