Bellevue Downtown Park NE Gateway

When MacLeod Reckord “completed the circle” two years ago it seemed that would be the last chapter in the Bellevue Downtown Park phasing plan. It was not to be. The enthusiasm to implement the original master plan, envisioned by Robert Beckley and implemented by MacLeod Reckord, continues to propel this project forward. This next phase involves development of the northeast corner of the park, an important connection to the City’s urban network, further integrating the park with its surroundings and the Grand Connection. We are working with renowned artist Marc Fornes with TheVeryMany to create a plaza that will feature one of the more unique art pieces in the City. Bids were opened in February and construction is expected to begin in May of 2020.
